Scaring Pinky

The boy I scare is named Jeter but we have taken to calling him Pinky. Actually, everyone has taken to calling him Pinky now.
One day I asked him what color Emma's shirt was. He answered, "I am Pinky." Instead of, "It is pink."

The students started laughing. So he got angry because he didn't know why they were laughing. So I asked him again what color Emma's shirt was. This time he said it with more force because he was so angry, "I am PINKY!" And thus he destroyed his street cred forever.

It's funny because his older brother always tries to burn other students but always messes up his English and makes himself look like a fool. Last week, he was teasing a girl named Janet in his class about loving a boy named Donald. I was teaching them the sentence, "If you could do anything, what would you do and why?" It was his turn and he announced proudly, "If I could do anything, I would make love to Donald so Janet would be angry!"

There was an awkward moment of silence and then I said, "What?" And began laughing. I then translated it to Chinese which left the class in hysterics. He was so embarrassed and kept trying to explain what he meant to say but it was no use. There are only two boys in that class and he was left at the mercy of the grade 5 girls as they snickered away the rest of the hour. Every 10 minutes or so, I would hear one of the girls whisper "blah blah blah Adam make love with Donald." Then, they would all howl again.

He finally explained to me that he was trying to say "If I could do anything I would take away her love, Donald, so that that Janet would be angry."

Now a question for you. Drai has one patch of really long hair on the crown of his head. Should we cut it off to match the rest of his head or just leave it until we get to Canada?

Cut it off. Baby comb-overs aren't really in this summer.

Okay, you are the only one that commented, so we will do what you say.

NO!!! Don't cut it off until you are here and we will get Uncle Bob the Barber to do it. Hope it's not too late, this is the first time in days that I've had a chance to check the blogs.

Too late. I cut if off already. Lindsay told me to and she is the boss. He will still need a trim from uncle Bob though. He has wings.
