Nothin' Nada
Just a quick update. There have been no changes whatsoever. Jenny still feels fine and hasn't had a single contraction. She is starting to get really frustrated though. We can't imagine how Jamie went so long past her due date. In Chinese culture, they always think the boy will be born early. For 3 months all of her family and friends have been telling her that she would deliver in late December. Even the doctor had said that it looked like he was ready to come out two weeks ago. She took this week completely off and is now bored stupid. She has been climbing the stairs to the 20th floor and walking on the running machine for 30 minutes a day but no signs from Head that he is ready to come out.

Remember - the average first baby comes at 41 weeks 2 days gestation, despite the fact that 40 weeks is considered full term! And because if what the word average means - a full 50% of first babies arrive AFTER 41w2d!! So your baby is in no way late, and is just waiting to come at the right time. Trust me - I've done one induction and one regular childbirth, and I would never be induced again. It really is no fun. Waiting an extra day or two (and sleeping an extra few hours...) won't make any difference in the long run - and it'll make the delivery much easier on everyone! Just my two cents, Evelyn was 10 days overdue, so I do know how it feels to wait and how tiring it can be! If you get impatient, just take a nap - you'll be missing that for the next 15 yrs!
Have you tried sining to Jenny's hoo hoo? I found that a little Barbara Streisand was just what Sullivan needed to get going.
January 11th is the next full moon. My guess is that's when things will happen. Just relax and rest up while you can.
