While at my dad's house, we found that their garden was full of snakes. I was trying to entertain the nephews and get them less scared of them. Clay was hungover and sleeping in the trailer. So I decided to give him a surprise wake up.
Alas, I couldn't stop giggling long enough to get it under the covers with him before it woke up.

The snake was absolutely fine, they let him or her back out so it could continue happily eating all Sue's pond fish. We (Dann, Sullivan & I) actually took one and put it out in the green space behind them in hopes that they would stay out of the pond. I have a feeling it made it back by night fall though.
No, we didn't hurt any of them. We ended up catching all of them and moving them a few blocks away next to someone else's pond.
