It's A Boy

Well… once again my father is right, as he will no doubt be telling you the next time you see him. We are having a baby boy and are really excited about it. The last couple of weeks, Jenny had started referring to the baby as him and while out for dinner with Andrew last week, she said she was pretty sure it was going to be a boy. I sometimes hear her in the next room talking to her belly and telling him to wake up. The ultra-sound this morning proved our instincts right as my baby boy’s junk popped up on the LCD screen very clearly.

The blood work, heart rate, internal organs etc. all look very healthy and Jenny has gained three kilograms in the last four weeks. She wears it well. So we now get to start decorating the nursery which is really exciting. Christmas time in Canada is going to be insane with this many baby boys running around!

Congrats for having a boy! I thought it would be a girl though. Anyway, i am soooo happy for you two. Jenny is still in good shape, how come?

I think it is just good genes. I am in decent shape and I was sore after that hike yesterday. Jenny never exercises and wasn't sore at all today.

Jenny you look gorgeous!!! And I am so happy it's a little boy, they are so much fun. Plus, I won't have to buy any girl toys for here!
Love you guys,
Mom

Yay! Welcome to the family boy club... seems to be in our genes I guess. Congratulations you guys, I'm so happy for you and can't wait to meet your little one!

Congratulations! I guess it's up to me to bring some little girls into this family. Or I guess there is always the second-born generation....

Can't wait to see you guys!

Kyle, the next time you are at the homestead you should build an Octagon Cage for Baby Wars. Then, we can toss them in, open a bottle of scotch and watch the mayhem.

You'd be surprised Dann... we won't even need an Octagon cage. Just let them all see the ride-on tractor that Heathery got for Comox, and the "mine mine mine!" "no mine mine mine!" pushing, hitting biting fun will begin. My kid's got at least 35 lbs and a couple years of toddler experience on yours and Jamie's though... I'm sure he'll win.

Maybe we should get this thing going early and start with preggo wars where Jenny and Linds cage match.
